PRIMARY PURPOSE
This site is dedicated to my family, especially my children, Dan, Steve, and Pearl. When I started this site, I had no practical way to reach Dan or Stephen. This was a nightmare coming true. It was more agonizing than death. In case they never got to know me, I wanted them to have a way to find out as directly from me as possible what my perspectives are, what I think, how I feel. The reason this information is in a public place is so they can find it when or if they look for it. It's not that I think I am important, except to them, whether they like it or not, for better or worse. I am just trying to reach them any way I can.
Fortunately, Pearl and I had a better chance to get to know one another during her childhood. All the pent up need for parenting focused through me in Pearl, who always will be my little girl in a way I have found all normal fathers of daughters know, maybe a little stronger than usual, a gift from the Lord to me, Praise be the Lord!.
Today, Steve, Dan, and Pearl have good relationships with me, but they are not well acquainted with one another. I am not sure how they feel about that.
For years, I have experimented with web programming and articles reflecting my mix of interests. To focus this swirl of material, I have spun off other websites from this one. They are:
